Personally, I divide into few type: standing poses, the most common posing for presentation and display, sitting poses, sitting which closely to lying poses, lying poses and some kind of special poses like squash, jogging, dancing etc.

Posing of the Model
Whether is photo shooting or the fashions illustration, I think the posing of the model is very important, it will highlight and emphasized the best part of the feeling and the effects of the model / costume or the products.
